An electrical power substation located in the Flagami (Flagler + Tamiami) neighborhood of Miami-Dade county, operated by Florida Power & Light.
On February 26th, 2008 at about 1pm, a blackout occurred which caused approximately one million customers across the state of Florida to lose power. While performing tests, he accidentally disabled two levels of protection for the system, causing a circuit to short out, officials said.
