  • I went to Monte Vista during the '62-'63 school year (3rd grade) Judging from how it appears from satellite, it hasn't changed a bit! My fondest memory is my teacher (can't remember her name) who was a real space exploration buff. She let us paper the walls with Mercury space program newspaper articles and every kind of memorabilia we could find. I reside in Indiana now and haven't been back for 35 years.
