Comments

  • The photos are of Lincoln Street, which is still paved with bricks. It might seem unusual for there to be a Lincoln Street in the heart of the Confederacy, but this street was named Lincoln Street on April 21, 1786 (or shortly thereafter), long before Abraham Lincoln was born on February 12, 1809.
