Founded in 1817 The Lake George Steamboat Company currently operates three tour boats, the steam powered paddle wheeler Minne-Ha-Ha (pictured), the Mohican and the Lac du Saint Sacrement.

The Mohican has been in service by the Lake George Steamboat Company continuously since 1908. The original steam powered engines were replace by diesel engines in 1946 and the wooden superstructure was replace by steel superstructure in the 1960's. In 2010 The Mohican was added to the National Register of Historic Places.
