Divič

Divič is a place located in the Zvornik Municipality, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Divič is an ethnic Bosniak village.

Divič year 1910 had 133 houses and 479 inhabitants. They all were of Islamic religion.

In Divič six members of Bosnia's national soccer team on 2 June 2009 played in a symbolic match between two clubs Drina 93 and Mladost Divič, organized to boost refugee return. Thousands of Muslim Bosnian returnees came to watch the match.

One of the players was Samir Muratović who was born in a nearby village of Snagovo, where forensic experts have uncovered hundreds of bodies of Bosnians from mass graves in the past decade. Among the visiting stars were striker Edin Džeko, Sejad Salihović, Miralem Pjanić, Said Husejinović and Elvir Rahimić.
