Common mistake most people do is to call this area Shuwikh, while
actually it is Al-Rai area. There are a lot of places here.
Souq Al-Jomaa ( Friday market), Several plantation and green shops,
cattle market, Pet market and shops. A large number of showrooms:
- cars: All famous car marks, and others.
- electronics: Ozzan, Alganim electronics, and others.
- Furniture: IKEA, others.
- General sore: Carrefour, Lulu market, and others.

Newest & largest mall in Kuwait is built there "The Avenues", with a lot
of shops of various shops. Worth visiting if you come to Kuwait.
People who prefer viewing or visiting malls on sea side are to choose:
Marina Mall (Salmiya), Souq Sharq (Kuwait City) or Al-Kout (South of Kuwait).
