This is the site of Henry Lehrman Studios (L-Ko Komedies), the brief neighbor of Hal Roach in the early 1920s. Only existed for a few years, before Lehrman went to work as a writer/director for Fox. Roscoe "Fatty" Arbuckle took over the lot for a brief time (1919-1921), until the Virginia Rappe scandal ruined his career.

Hal Roach bought the property somewhere around 1929 and expanded his studio here, until it was razed in the 1960s.
