Putrajaya is a planned city and a Federal Territory that acts as a federal government administration centre of Malaysia moved from the overcrowding and congestion of Kuala Lumpur. However, Kuala Lumpur still serves as Malaysia's national and legislative capital.

The city is named after the first Malaysian Prime Minister, Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra.

  • PUTRAJaYa rocks!! it's an amazing and beautiful place but it needs public facilities and a few more shopping mall. the place is too corporate.
  • i believe this city can compete with Singapore. The Putrajaya Corporation should plant more trees besides the roads and walkways. Plant trees like the one in Singapore, cause their trees got a lot of leaves thus shades more if people walk under it.
