St.Georgs- und Mauritiuskirche (St. George and Mauritius Church), located next to the Eider river. The name "Flemhude" is derived from the Flemish merchants that built the church during the 13th century. The parish church is mentioned for the first time in 1316. In the interior there is a romanesque baptismal font, medieval wall paintings, a baroque altar of 1685 and rococo ceilings. The baroque tower dates from 1766.
