Madikal Masjid is one of the oldest mosques in Karnataka. It has a 100 Years history,It is just three kilometres away from Byndoor,belongs to Kundapur Taluk.In the past a large number Muslims families were living in the area, later all of them except one family shifted to other areas. Around hundred families of non-Muslims are living in this area.
All the muslims from Uppunda,Madikal,Tarapathi,Naikinkatte will come to pray in this Masjid.
