A branch of the major UK department stores. This branch was formerly the Arding and Hobbs store, famous for its cupola - and the name Arding and Hobbs can still be see on te stonework. It was subsequently a branch of Allders until the bankruptcy of the chain, when the store was refurbished and sold to Debenhams. This is a one of the larger branches of the chain, spread over five floors, with a cafe on the top floor.
