The Dunajec River Gorge in the Pieniny Mountains (Pol. Pieniński Przełom Dunajca; Slov. Pieninský prielom Dunajca) - runs through the limestone Pieniny Mountains in the south of Poland and the north of Slovakia. The Gorge makes 7 loops in its length. The surrounding rock reaches 300 m in height almost all the way through.
Rafting down the Dunajec River, through the Gorge, is a major tourist attractions recommended in all guidebooks. The trip begins in the village of Sromowce Kąty, and ends in the resort town of Szczawnica, 18 km downstream.
