Opened in 1972 as the headquarters of College Life Insurance Company, designed by renowned architect Kevin Roche. The elevator and mechanical cores form two walls of the structure, eliminating the need for internal supports and resulting in column-free work floors. The radical design of the Pyramids has made the buildings architectural landmarks on the northwest side of Indianapolis. All three towers are connected via basement and ground-level corridors.

A $12 million renovation was undertaken in 2022-2023.
