Location in the northern state of Sinaloa, with a population of approximately 50,000. The city of Juan Jose Rios is approximately 18 kilometers from the city of Los Mochis Mexico on the road 15. The city takes its name from a character in the Mexican Revolution, Juan José Ríos. It is without doubt one of the most important municipality receiverships. The region's main source of economy is the trade and agriculture, the latter plays an important role in the receivership and the municipality.
History: July 13, 1989, C. State Governor Mr. Francisco Labastida Ochoa, a working tour announced that the initiative to elevate the rank of city to Juan Jose Rios, had been approved by the H. Local Congress. Initially the name was Juan Jose Rios ejido Las Vacas, then gave him the rank of receivership.
