7 Housekeeping cabins and 10 campsites located on the pond. Offer fishing, hunting, relaxing and vacationing. Many stay here to visit Baxter State Park or the West Branch of the Penobscot River.   • my dad started hunting out of these camps back in the 50s.he took my brother and i fishing there many times when we were kids.we always caught fish and had a great time.camped at duck pond during deer season.i now live in alaska and will always hold a special place for those old camps
