Formed when steam shovels hit an underground stream, equipment is supposedly still down there.
A place for storm drains to discharge their water. The rain-water can then seep into the local ground water.

  • Where did you get this information? I grew up near this lake and always assumed it was a sump since there are many sewage lines leading into it.
  • i agree.. i believe its a rainwater runoff basin and not a lake. not a public site. not associated with the Speno Park.
