Opened in 1993. The mission of CSP-Los Angeles County is to be both a Reception Center for short term housing and to provide secure long-term housing and services for men who have been convicted of felonies classified as minimum, high-medium and maximum custody inmates. The institution provides educational/vocational programming designed to encourage productivity, inmate responsibility and self-improvement.
