A spur trail off of the Farmington Valley Greenway, the Farmington River Trail begins at this intersection and follows the river upstream to the Northwest through Unionville and Collinsville. It is intended to eventually circle back East to rejoin the Farmington Valley Greenway. The uncompleted portion would take it through Canton and Simsbury over streets and former railroad.
