A great place to jog and enjoy nature in Kuala Lumpur

The Kepong Botanic Gardens is developed to be the center for living plant collections mainly for Malaysian plants. This garden will create research opportunities in botany, horticulture, landscape and other related fields. Plants from the wild will be systematically collected and planted in the garden for display and as a center for ex-situ conservation. Horticulture and landscaping education, research and development will be another strong feature of the garden.

  • Taman Botani Kepong is a fabulous place ithout a doubt. To many nature lovers like me it is a Paradise. With verbal permission ith the authorities at FRIM and Taman Botani Kepong I hav been tacking th hills fo th past 4 months. I have seen Hash Harriers and cyclists plus hill climbers enjoying a wonderful time. I oulkd like to bring to your notice that a NO JOGGERS BEYOND THIS POINT has been posted in two locations. Many choose to ignore this sign. My humble suggestion would be to POST this sign. INDIVIDUAL BEYOND THIS POINT DOES SO AT THIER OWN RISK. DG OF FRIM DOES NOT BEAR ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY UNTOWARD INCIDENCE. This is a win win situation. Both parties know what they are into. This also makes the situation macceptable from the legal point. Thank you
