  • Well-to-do/ rich people lives in this area when this subdivision opened in the fifties through sixties. We used to take the short cut to Banago wharf through the access road of santa clara subdivision.
  • This is were the rich hacienderos and political elite of Negros Occ live. Also the Sta Clara Chapel is located inside Sta Clara Subdivision in Bacolod City. From the outside it may seem just like any ordinary Chapel but inside you will see that it is a Very Special Chapel, a Hidden Gem of Bacolod City. The inside is decorated with shells, mother of pearl and other natural materials. The Madonna and Child mural is made of mother of pearl and shells, all natural (the color is natural, no dyes were used here). Even the Saints inside the chaper are made of Mother of Pearl also.

Most of all old money from haciendas and sugar trade are the inhabitants of this peaceful and appealing gated community. Football games are on sunday, with competitive frisbies, softball, roller blading and a daily dog show happens in this place LOL. My friend lives here cant seem to get enought of the good life here. No parents most of the time.
