Kinta Riverfront Park, costing 4.4 million Ringgit Malaysia, is developed under phase 1 of the Kinta Riverfront Project in early 2010. The park has fountains, arches topped with mosque-like domes, a children's playground and a recreational pool. There is also a mini stage for schools or organizations to hold shows or concerts, and ample space for mass exercise sessions and open-air exhibitions.

Sandy trees, believed to be over a century old, lush turf grass and colourful flowers, including Ipoh's famous bougainvilleas, completed the garden atmosphere. This park is mainly visited by folks at night after dinnertime. Since the Ipoh City Council (www.mbi.gov.my/) manages these parks, they are frequently used for public activities and programmes.
