Boris Berenstein and Image Lab was born in 1988, the dream of an entrepreneur who has learned from life to believe in their desires. The first unit opened in Derby, now expanded and reference services in more than two decades, then a clinical radiological became Diagnostic Center in 1995. Currently there are five units, strategically distributed through the Metropolitan Region of Recife in the interest of coming increasingly closer to the customer.

But the brand Boris Berenstein has a history even older, dating back to the late 70's when the doctor Boris Berenstein began attending scientific meetings of residency services in public hospitals, creating innovative systems of relationship and quality control along professionals requesting radiological examinations at the clinic where she worked in the period. The steps yielded good friendships, recognition of professional integrity around your name and the doctor ended up taking the presidency of the Radiological Society of Pernambuco, between 1984 and 1987.

Son of Leon, a former soldier of the Romanian army and Pola, a survivor of a concentration camp, Boris began working at age 10, helping parents in reconstructing the history of their lives since then in lands of Pernambuco, handling multiple tasks in administration of small furniture store popular family in the Yellow House, where true, the boy began to develop the talents that would boost the construction of Boris Berenstein and Image Laboratory, which continues to grow.
