Dog Park with Beach access (Mercer Island, Washington)

  Was one of the best dog parks in Seattle, until (2006) the MI city council asked the local fuzz to begin enforcing the leash law on the beach area on the northern tip. I've actually seen the fuzz roll on up the sidewalker in their cruisers, to go 'enfore the law' on the north end. There is still a decent off-leash area on the NE side of the park, but it's always muddy.
