Dawlish is a town on the south coast of Devon, England. It is on the south Devon coastline, between the main holiday destination of Torquay and the city of Exeter. The town is famous for its black swan. The black swans of Dawlish were introduced to the town from New Zealand by John Nash, a Dawlish-borne man who emigrated during adulthood but paid frequent visits to the town.
