  This place is an absolute eyesore, go to local Tesco's on a Saturday and see all the chavs stocking up on value line crap.

  "Chav" - Cambridge English Dictionary: an ​insulting word for someone, usually a ​young ​person, whose way of ​dressing, ​speaking, and ​behaving is ​thought to show ​their ​lack of ​education and ​low ​social ​class. God forbid the "low social classes" should be entitled to holiday in a beautiful part of the country, eh? So sorry it offends your middle class sensibilities. You could always go and shop at Waitrose.

  Nope. Can’t agree it’s an eyesore. Previously a family concern (Sandy Bay Holiday Camp) run by the respected Lee farming family, Haven have successfully run this clean and tidy holiday camp extremely well. The excellent beach also provides safe bathing for families with young children. Fair enough, there are bound to be some CHAVS among the visitors, but the vast majority of the visitors I see are just families out for a nice holiday in this sunshine county (Devon). I am an Exmothian (60 years plus)!! and would recommend anyone to stay there for a holiday, if that’s the type of caravan/chalet holiday they were looking for.
