Formally known as Buenaventura Plaza, when it was one story and uncovered. In the 80's was remodeled and a sail-like coverings were installed overhead, with JCPenney, the Broadway and Woolworth (complete with ice cream counter) as anchor stores. Spent most of the 90's as unfinished due to renovation plans that went no where. By the late 90's it was re-designed, finished and re-branded as Pacific View Mall with Macy's, JCPenney, and Sears as anchor stores. A northern section of the mall property once held Circuit City, Barker Bro's furniture and a Thrifty Drugs. This section is yet to be demolished or continued as an extension to the present shopping center.
