Old Albany Public School 10 (Albany, New York)

Today this Old School is an integral part of the Brighter Choice Charter School, It was built in 1890 and replaced the earlier school 10 built in 1838. The two towers are unique in Albany school architecture. Notice the fortress like design. Perhaps this type of building reflected the turbulent period of the 1890's.
