This is the place where Imam Hussain AS's Head remained burried for more than 200 years. At that time, Maulana Badr-ul-Jamali, a missionary of Fatimid Imams in Cairo, discovered the Head via a miracle of earthquake and took it to Cairo. While at the place, he constructed a Pilar and inscriped the miracle's detail in 'Kufi Khat". After many centuries of this event, when even all signs of that pilar had vanished, the present successor of Da'ais (Assistants) of Fatmid Imams, 51st Da'ai Syedna Tahir Saifuddin visited the site and again discovered the exact location and proved by digging the site and discovering the foundation of the pilar. Few years ago from now, His son and successor, and present 52nd Da'ai Syedna Muhammad Burhanuddin TUS constructed an open-air masjid in that location and Maulana Badr-ul-Jamali's pilar still exists in Khalil-ur-rahman.
