Al-'Omari Great Mosque or al-Masjid al-'Omari al-Kabir is the largest and oldest mosque in the Gaza Strip, located in Gaza's old city.
This is the place where Joseph, Baby Jesus, and Marry passed by in their journey to Egypt known as the Temple of Dagon destroyed by Simson.
This mosque was targeted and destroyed by the Israel during Operation Pillar of Defense, 2014
