  • Come to Pangkor for at least one or two days retreat. The main attraction is the beautiful beaches, mainly at Pasir Bogak and Telok Nipah. When I went day in the early 90's, there were very few hotels and resorts, so not many tourist then. It was beautiful. Now, it is still beautiful but it can be overcrowded during the holiday seasons. The best way to travel is to hire a van, or motorbike or bicycle. A motorbike is a good way if you travel only with your companion. 1 hour trip round the island, you probably can see many things. If a little adventuruous, then stop at any of the fishing villages at Sg Pinang, especially when the fisherman came back from sea. Other main attractions include the dutch fort and the little wall of china. Stop by at some of the shops selling dried cuttlefish and seafood products. In the evening, just laze back along the beach to view the sunset.
