The most luxurious hotel in Grand Rapids. The east end of the hotel was originally the Pantlind Hotel, built in 1913 and nicely restored. The tower to the west was added and the hotel opened as the Grand Plaza in 1981. At 318 feet, it was the tallest building in the city when completed.
