Notes: The Buckhorn Exchange is significant as one of Denver's oldest and best-known historic restaurant/bars. With the exception of a brief period during Prohibition, the business has continued in its original function since its founding in 1893. It is in an excellent state of preservation, and as such, serves as the city's most authentic representation of a late 19th-early 20th century restaurant/saloon.
