  • Fairfield CBD is really 'dead'. There are a lot of vacant shops even in the two shopping malls. Problem IMO is that it's really decentralised. Also, it more of a commuter CBD, people from the surrounding suburbs only pass through to get to the train station. At other times their disposable income is spent in the outer suburban shopping strips (eg. Wetherill Pk, Stklands) or in Cabramatta and Canley Vale/Heights.
  • i guess i could agree with iliveincarramar but now its much more lively, especially in Cabramatta
