It is situated on the Maddur - Tumkur state high way & 9 KM from Maddur. It is famous for 'TEPPA'. It means swimming in the river shimsha from one side to other side/bank using bunde's [sore kayi bunde] which is tied to trunk of man while swimming during rainy seasons for their agricultural purpose. One of the person Shri 'THIMMAIAH' [Mudiyanna] who is famous swimmer in this village & he passed away in the year 2001 July. It has very famous temple called 'Bommaligeshwara Temple', located between Thoresettahalli Village & Shimsha river which is joins river Kaveri [Cauveri] near GAGANA CHUKKI, BHARA CHUKKI at Shivanasamudram.
