The Arun Khetarpal Parade Ground of the NDA is where the cadets of the NDA learn drill and where the parades of the NDA take place. This is also known in Academy parlance as the "Drill Square" and is hallowed ground where the ubiquitous "Drill Saabs" old sway and reign in terror.

The ground is named after 2 Lt Arun Khetarpal, of the Armoured Corps who was awarded the nation' highest gallantry award posthumously for courage beond the call of futy in the 1971 war.
