A little different. Holds about 20-30 people. Has a sushi bar, but I don't trust eating sashimi from places that don't have lots of diners. I pretty much stuck to cooked foods. Because the menu has Chinese dishes as well as Japanese, I decided to order eel over rice. The eel was very "oishi". Sweet, but not too sweet and fatty. The rice was not the standard glutinous in Japanese restaurants, it was standard Chinese long grain rice - cool, just the way I would make it at home. I also ordered tempura, but the dipping sauce was on the sweet side for me. The menu had lots to choose from, may be even vegan friendly - definitely a place where a vegetarian can dine, only thing missing was the beer/wine/sake. I saw a few people come in for take out, so I guess their locals. I would definitely go back if I was a local and recommend it to other, but since I'm only visiting, I going to try other restaurants.
