This is a hole in the ground - a former quarry I think. Steep high sides enclose it. A housing developer must have thought it could be worthwhile developing but the project seems to have stalled. Drainage, lack of breeze, "Feng Shui" might be against it.

The Lake in the middle is probably 20 - 50 metres below the road to the north!
