Yuling, the best of the Eastern Qing Tombs, took 14 years to build (during the "golden age" of the Qing Dynasty) and was completed in 1757. It is the burial place of Qianlong, 4th Qing Emperor of all China, who died in August 1799 aged 89. Also buried here were the first and third of his 3 Empresses and 3 of his 5 Huangguifeis (Imperial Concubines).
