Villa Mansi symbolizes the architecture of many of Lucca's villas, in fact the style in which it was built was very popular in the 1550. In 1675 this property was bought by The Mansi family. There is also a legend that surrounds the villa. it is about a member of the Mansi family, Lucida Mansi: they say that she was a beautiful and charming woman and men came from all over to court her.
