Lagalevu means Big Foot (laga=foot, levu=large). So named due to very large feet of early residents. The area is approximately 485 acres and home to descendants of Paddy Connor and the contemporary Mataqali (clan) O`Connor. Traditional Fijian area of various divisions marked typically by tidal creeks (tirois) and rocky headlands.
