  • "When this subdivision was just newly developed, houses were required to be painted in a shade of Green, hence the word "Green" in this village's name." - This is not true. We've been living here for 46 years now and my grandparents were one of the very first homeowners here. Our house has always had white paint and blue paint. Our neighbors had red and yellow. The reason why it is called "Marcelo Green Village" is because of the lush vegetation and greenery in this area. My grandma used to plant roses in our backyard as well as a variety of fruits and vegetables.
  • i went thre the last year its a very calm a nice place and only some minutes from the malls and makati---im from sudamerica and i vistit friends of mine there.i loved that place,
  • i've been living here the past 22 years. very peaceful and quiet place. great area to raise children. accessible to malls and other commercial establishments. love it!
  • My parents were one of the pioneers here. Our vintage house was built in the 1960's and still is up and erect with some major re-repairs done. It may not be as plush as other villages in other places but it's a quiet place to live in. Now, my own family lives here. My daughter is growing up loving the place where her grandparents use to live.
  • I'm from this area too from back in 1972. Our house is what you would call a 70's classic and our family is what one would describe as an "OGMG" original Marcelo Green. I also pioneered the shoplifting in the complex and throwing "watusi" through windows and last but not the least annoying the party line.
  • u rock!!! ha ha ha
  • We have been living here in Buensuceso Homes III which is a subdivision inside Marcelo Green Village. Unfortunately, it is not indicated yet in the Google Map. We're building a second home now a few blocks away but is in Marcelo Green Village. It is a nice and quiet place, accessible to all the Malls in Bicutan, Sucat and Alabang.
  • i saw a huge anaconda snake at around 10 meters in lenght last week and since then i couldnt manage to walk the empty space alone in the middle of the night....i have been taking the tricycle to reach the house but the guard at the phase 9 doesnt allow me to pass with my ride and forced me to walk behind..this is so inconsiderate on my part when i have the phobia of seeing a big snake run after me in the middle of the night.whi will ever care for my safety???i want to know....
  • Hi to all, I'm not from Marcelo Green Village but i also live here in Parañaque. it so lovely to read all comments here and how each of us trying to remember those all good and bad memories that we had in Marcelo Green. I'm not from Marcelo Green Village, but i also have a good memories here. Me and my girl best friend used to walk around the subdivision every 3 or 4 pm and then we always sat on the road gutter near Saint John Academy. We always do that and then me, unaware, starts to fall in love with my best friend. We know to each other that we cannot be together.. (sad part) so we try to stay the same. Sad part again, we didn't get a chance to be in a relationship that we both want. She passed away last January 2015. Thanks :)
