Madhapur (Ghed) which is situated on Costal Gujarat or Saurashtra, on Veraval- Prbandar Highway, Madhavpur is approx 70 Kms to north of Somnath (Veraval) and some 80 Kms from Dwarka. It is a place which is very little Know, however it is a very important Pilgrimage for Hindu Vaishnas since in the heart of this beautiful village just 300 meters away from the Sea shore is one of the oldest and historical temples of Madhavraiji(Loed Krishna) and Trikamraiji(Lord Balram), it is of imortance beacuse as per Hindu mythology before reaching back to Dwarka Lord Krishna Married Rukminiji at this place when he was returning back after Rukni Haran(Kidnapping), Rukmaniji from her chilhood was found of Lord Krishna and was deeply in love with him, however her Brother and father wanted to get her married else where, when her swayamvar was getting near she prayed to Lord Krishna who then went and Kidnapped her since then his temple existed in Madhavpur where he is worshiped along with Rukminiji and his elder Brother Trikamraiji.

Madhavraiji Temple Trust manages the Day to day affairs of Temple where one can have Darshan of Madhavraiji- Trikamraiji along with Rukminiji. During one entire Day the Temple opens for 30 to 40 minutes, 6 times in a Day (Cha Samah) as per followers of Hawali Sampraday.

Madhapur is a village all Hindus should visit at least once for Pilgrimage especially during festivals like Janmashthami, The 8th Day of Holy month of Shravan, Tulshi Vivaha (Marriage) 11 days after Diwali and the best of all for Rukmini Vivaha (Marriage) from Ram Navmi to up to 4 days following it.

Incidently Visit to Madhavpur is also important because it is place where again as per epics and Hindu Mythology Mahaprabhuji Travelled and narrated the teachings of Shreemad Bhagwad Gita it has one amongst 84 such places Where shri Mahaprabhuji Travelled to Teach Bhagwad Gita and Madhavpur has one of the Mahaprabhijis Bethaks.
