Jamaica Avenue School

The Jamaica Avenue School was built by the Plainview-Old Bethpage School District. Originally built as the district's high school, its was changed to an elementary school following the completion of Plainview-Old Bethpage High School. In addition to service as an elementary school, the school district's headquarters were located in the building as well. Today, the school no longer serves as an elementary school and the district's headquarters are located in Howard B. Mattlin Middle School. The school serves multiple uses now, including a day care center and seniors center.
