Last headquarters of Grumman Aerospace Corporation, prior to merger with Northrop Corporation. Site of the design and building of the first lunar landing module (as seen in "From the Earth to the Moon"). Much of the land has been transfered to public and private interests, such as the Bethpage Fire Department, a church, housing developments and Berkeley Community College, with Northrop-Grumman retaining a presence.
