this is the school where most of us(majority of the population of hangal) studied, some great teachers to remember and a big play ground is a dream come true for all the students of this school, it has nilagiri plantation in some part of the ground, where we mostly played HIDE and SEEK game, still remember those times when we use to climb those nilagiri(eucalyptus plants) trees to hide ourself and broke the branches of the tree and of course ended up with the punishment from our beloved teachers who cared for the trees in the campus,
those were the wonderful and the most cherished moments which are firmly etched in my memory,

"twinkle twinkle little star GMKBS super star",
this was the slogan that we used to shout loudly when we were elated in joy after winning in annual inter school sports meets or be it any inter school competition,

GMKBS truely rocks......,
