park, campsite / caravan site
Former state park with camping, swimming, and boat launch. Park is currently maintained by private interests. The island and nearby area was once the location of the town of Silcott. The last remnants of the town were flooded following the construction of Lower Granite Dam. The abandoned Chief Timothy Memorial Bridge is located a short distance west alongside the highway.
