  • Few days ago, my husband and I flew all the way from the U.S. to attend my grandfather's funeral at Nirvana memorial park, the park which I was told is well known for its lanscaping, feng shui etc, and it costs a lot for the small little piece of land. However, to my dissapointment, the park is not as great as I was told. It is not properly maitained as it is supposed to be, trees are not trimmed nicely, hardly see colorful flowers, and the worst of all, the stingy ponds. My American husband asked a very good question, "Are you guys sure that is called good feng shui?" That question made my family felt like an idiot.

  • Cindy: probably not a good fengshui for American but for traditional Chinese it definitely is. Good fengshui is not about beautiful flowers and trimmed plants, or man made ponds... those are for us who're still living. Anyway...fengshui is really up to individual nowadays. if you feel comfortable then it's good fengshui.
