Despotovac (Деспотовац, Romanian : Despotova) is a town and municipality located in Serbia, around 130 kilometers southeastern of Belgrade. Its name stems from Despot, a title of Serbian medieval prince Stefan Lazarević. In 2002 the town had total population of 4,363, while municipality had a population of 25,611.
