Grossmont Union High School District

On March 5, 2001, fifteen-year-old Santana High student Charles Andrew Williams entered a boys' bathroom at the school and opened fire on student Bryan Zuckor, killing him. He then left the bathroom and began firing indiscriminately at people, wounding eleven students and two teachers, and killing another student, Randy Gordon. The shooting ended with Williams surrendering to the police. Williams is currently serving 50 years in prison.
