    note to anyone curious about exploring this island: -southern tip is all marsh and washed up eel grass. -west coast along amittyville cut is sandy beach but there is no way into the interior of the island due to really thick reed grass. Its a nice walk though. -northwest corner is a sandy/clay cliff topped with torn bushes. beach along this corner is almost non-existant at high tide so you might have to wade through. I'm still exploring trying to get to the center sandy patch that i see in the satalite photo. If i find a route i'll comment here.
